AO4 set task - 26/4/12


In preparation for the assessment involving visiting speakers, you are required to post a series of blog entries about each individual attending.

AO4 Introduction


Examine the partnerships between different organisations involved in sport development using examples from two different sports within the local area.


Task
A variety of representatives from different organisations are visiting school to discuss how they work in partnership to develop (football and gymnastics) in the local area.

On the assessment sheet provided, you need to make links between the different organisations as they come up in discussion. Following the discussion, you will be given a viva, where your understanding of the links will be tested.

You will submit your analysis sheet, along with a witness statement.

Grading Criteria

Pass
Candidates provide a brief outline of the partnerships between different organisations involved in sport development using examples from two different sports within the local area. Candidates show a limited understanding of the nature of the partnerships.

Merit
Candidates provide a description of the partnerships between different organisations involved in sport development using examples from two different sports within the local area. Candidates show a sound understanding of the nature of the partnerships.


Distinction
Candidates provide a detailed description of the partnerships between different organisations involved in sport development using examples from two different sports within the local area. Candidates show an in-depth understanding of the nature of the partnerships.
